Fola David, a doctor and talented hyper-realism artist, has achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest individual drawing
With the goal of celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity, Fola embarked on an ambitious six-day project at Onikan Stadium, aiming to create an impressive 1000 square meters of art that showcases the country’s vibrant heritage.
On the fourth day of the project, Fola announced that he had broken the current record of 629.98 square meters and was continuing to work towards his goal.
The project has attracted an impressive list of visitors, including prominent figures such as Peter Obi and Hilda Baci, as well as notable individuals like Farooq Oreagba.
The management of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, where David is an alumnus, has also visited to show their support.
Fola’s artwork, titled “Unity in Diversity,” spans an impressive 850 square meters and showcases the diverse ethnic groups of Nigeria through their unique attire, languages, culture, and artistic expressions.
