PDP lawmakers stage a walkout following defection of member to APC

There was drama today in Nigeria’s House of Representatives, after a former member of PDP, Nnanna Igbokwe, defected to the APC.

PDP members who asked the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, to declare Nnanna’s seat vacant since he contested and won on PDP’s platform, staged a walk out after Dogara refused granting the request.
