Raila Odinga withdraws from repeat Kenya’s presidential election

Nasa presidential candidate, Raila Odinga and his running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka have withdrawn their candidature in Kenya’s repeat presidential election scheduled for October 26th.

This is coming after his rival, Jubilee party leader, Uhuru Kenyatta challenged him to withdraw his candidature.
Speaking on Tuesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta asked Odinga to withdraw his bid and instead seek the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairmanship, currently held by Wafula Chebukati.
