Suspected killers of Kano businessman, demand N20m to release his kidnapped wife

We shared the story of a man, Sheriff Yazid, who was murdered and his wife abducted along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway on Sunday, September 17th. Family sources say the kidnappers have reached out to them and are demanding for N20 million. Meanwhile, the deceased husband has been buried according to Islamic rites.
The Kano state police command is currently trailing the kidnappers and have vowed to rescue the woman alive.
