Prison inmate in Delta tortured by officials for leaking information

An Ogwashi Uku Prison inmate identified as Onos Osagie, was reportedly tortured by prison officials for leaking information about their unprofessional activities.
Prince Harrison Gwamnishu who shared the story online, said Onos was tortured after he revealed an inmate died because the officials failed to take him to the hospital.
Here’s what he wrote;

“OGWASHI UKU PRISON AUTHORITIES TORTURES AWAITING TRIAL PRISONER ONOS OSAGIE WHO THEY ALLEGED LEAKED THE INFORMATION…….CONTROLLER GENERAL OF PRISONS VISIT OGWASHI UKU PRISON.
An inmate in Ogwashi Uku Prison Onos Osagie awaiting trial prisoner who has spent 5years is currently undergoing punishment.
The prison Authorities claimed Onos leaked the information about the malnourished prisoners to Behind Bars Intervention.
He was chained yesterday, beaten and locked up in a punishment cell.
The Controller General of Prisons is expected to be in Ogwashi Uku Prison today.
