Top Nigerian human rights lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana, has criticized the hypocrisy shown by ex-President Obasanjo who asked Pres. Buhari to negotiate with the embattled leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, recalling that the ex-Nigerian leader once ordered military officers to clamp down agitators in Southern Nigerian during his tenure.
Punch reports that the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, also asked former President Obasanjo to apologize to Nigerians over the deployment of the military, to invade communities under his administration.
“In calling for a dialogue between President Buhari and Mr. Kanu, former President Obasanjo ought to have apologised publicly for the military invasions of Odi in Bayelsa State and Zaki Biam in Benue State ordered by him. .
