  • Kenyan Woman Gives Birth At Polling Center, Names The Baby Ballot
  • A Kenyan woman Paulina Chemanang yesterday gave birth to a baby girl while waiting to cast her vote in Kenya's election.She was assisted by other voters at the Konyao Secondary School polling centre in West Pokot, before being rushed to a nearby dispensary.

    She however returned to vote to the surprise of many and was interviewed by Kenya's Capital FM where she said,
     'having given birth at a polling station is a blessing to me and I thank God'.
    She named the baby girl Chepkura. "Kura" means ballot or vote in Swahili.
