A bride who lost her hair due to alopecia proudly rocked her bald head on her wedding day—and enjoyed standing out from the crowd in her gorgeous wedding outfit.
According to DailyMail.com, Kylie Bamberger, of Oak Park, California, was diagnosed with the condition when she was 12 years old.
Alopecia is an autoimmune disorder, which affects 6.8 million Americans and causes people to lose hair on their head, face, and, in some cases, other parts of the body.
In the past, Bamberger, who is now 27, wore wigs to hide her condition. But they weren’t comfortable to wear, so she stopped wearing them more than a decade ago—and also didn’t wear them on her wedding day.
