New cases of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease has been recorded in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It has been revealed that the number of suspected Ebola cases in Congo has risen to 29, up from 21.
According to Reuters, a World Health Organization (WHO) spokesman,
Christian Lindmeier, made this revelation at a regular United Nations
briefing in Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday.
“As of this morning we have 29 suspected cases,” Reuters quoted Lindmeier as saying at the briefing.
“There were no new deaths in the outbreak, but 416 contacts of
sufferers were being chased up in case they also developed symptoms.”
