Unconfirmed reports have it that one of the close allies of the President named Abba Kyari is currently critically ill and has been flown to the United Kingdom for improved medical treatment.

Just like President Muhammadu Buhari spent 49 days in the United Kingdom on a medical vacation, his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari battling an unknown ailment has left the shores of the country to get treatment abroad.

Abba Kyari (born 1938) is a retired Nigerian Army Brigadier who served as Governor of the now defunct North-Central State, Nigeria after it was formed from the Northern Region during the military regime of General Yakubu Gowon.

 

He is 5 years older than President Buhari who is 74 and such incidence of ailment affecting both parties might be connected to the side-effects of old age.
