Today marking the 30th anniversary of the assassination of Dele Giwa,
the first editor and founder of Newswatch Magazine, former Minister of
Education, Oby Ezekwesili took to social media to honour the great
journalist who died following a delivered letter bomb on the 19th of
October 1986.
In her series of tweet, Oby recalled how her father who she equally lost
on the same date but in 1988, made her read the ‘Parallax Snaps’ column
on Dele Giwa’s Newswatch.
