The rankings in order in Africa is; Algeria, Ghana, CIV, Senegal, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Cameroon, Congo DR, Cape Verde, Mali, Congo, South Africa, Uganda, Guinea, Nigeria.

The top five ranked teams in the world are unchanged with Argentina and Belgium still ranked the top two teams in the world. Behind them are Colombia, Germany and Chile with Euro 2016 winners Portugal ranked 6th in the world.
