PHOTOS: Riot over Police killing in Ilaro,Ogun

Demonstrators have taken to the streets in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government in Ogun state after a Police officer allegedly shot and killed an okada rider.

The entire town has been thrown into chaos as the protesters are burning used tyres and police checkpoint stands.

Policemen are reportedly shooting in the air to scare the angry and defiant protesters who are insisting that the killer cop be released to them.







encomium.ng spoke with the Ogun state PPRO, Muyiwa Adejobi on the incident but he declined to comment. “I cannot comment on it right now. I am in a meeting,” he said.
