  • I was having a conversation this morning with a friend and I thought to share this with the ladies
    The vagina doesn't have to smell like peaches and roses. It's a vagina so it should smell like one. Once I read some where that it's okay for it to have a slight fishy smell(it said slight oh! Don't go and be smelling like salmon or something lol). But you have to understand this...when it comes to the smell of your vagina, you are pretty much what you eat. If you like yogurt, good for you! Probiotic yogurt like kefir or activia and cranberry juice help maintain the ph balance of your vagina; which affects how it also smells. If you have any colored discharge or pain, you must see a Dr. It could mean that you have bacterial vaginosis(also caused from an abnormal ph balance)...it's common among women who dig in their vagina during bath time and amongst women with different partners(the acidity or alkalinity of a man's sperm also affects the ph balance of a woman's vagina)...this is why if you must be sexually active it must be with one person or you could make yourself sick. Stay healthy and clean.
