  • Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr Udom Emmanuel has wipe the tears off the family of late Supol. Friday Etuk, by offering automatic employment to the widow of the deceased Mrs Gbibari Friday, to enable her cater for the welfare of the seven children left behind by the late Police Officer.
     
    Governor Emmanuel announced this during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at Ikot Idaha in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of the State.

    Governor Emmanuel said he was deeply touched by the plight of the young children for loosing the comfort of their father and directed the Head of Civil Service Mrs Ekerebong Akpan, to enrol the widow in the State Civil Service immediately after the funeral.

    The Governor charged members of the deceased family to extend their warmth to the children to alleviate the agony of the loss of their breadwinner and prayed God to grant them fortitude to bear the loss.
