Insurgents, yesterday, attacked parts of Borno State and sent inhabitants of over 12 settlements packing.
Also, insurgents numbering about 10, riding 3 motorcycles burnt down Musari village in Nganzai LGA and carted away valuables and cattle.
Comfirming the incident, the caretaker chairman, of Nganzai, Alhaji Mallam Gana Bachu said the displaced villagers are taking refuge at the two temporary camps provided by the local government council.
The two temporary camps he added are at Gajiram central primary school and 20 housing unit of the local government area.
He said that due to the violence, a large number of villagers have fled their villages to Gajiram the headquarters of the local government area for safety. The chairman assured the displaced persons that the federal government and Governor Kashim Shetti
