It was a traumatic day for Emergency outfits (NEMA, Fire Service & FRSC) in Enugu, South East, Nigeria. What seems to be the worst crash this New Year took place at the Ugwu Onyeama’s corner along Enugu-Nineth route. A multiple accident involving a tanker loaded with PMS and four other vehicles crashed and crushed occupants along the highway. It took rescue officers hours to extricate and evacuate trapped bodies from the scene.
