Recently, a 20-year-old woman was spotted on a frozen river seemingly
attempting to kill herself in Hohehot Municipality, Inner Mongolia
Autonomous Region, China. Police hurried to the scene to carry out a
rescue. The woman found the ice was so thick that she break through and
jump into the water, while reported asking why it is so hard to commit
suicide in winter.
Police managed to reach her but she ran to another direction where the ice was thin and then she dropped into the iced water. Luckily, police thought of a quick and clever way to retrieve her and finally rescue her.
