Meet The Crew Who Spent 16 Months Crossing The Sahara Desert On A Trip From Kano To Algeria

Captain Buchanan - Ali and Sakari N'Gashi who, along with Mr TA Glover (Cameraman), were all of the original Expedition to reach Algiers (capital of Algeria) after 16 months spent crossing the Sahara Desert, circa 1923. Captain Buchanan's expedition traversed 3,500 miles, beginning in early 1922 at Kano in Northern Nigeria and ending in Tougourt, Algeria in April 1923.
