  • Photos; Duo Bag Jail Sentence After Being Caught With A Stolen Bus Inside Redeemed Camp
  • Tony Akpan, 27 and Michael Okpara were arrested by the police at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG’s Camp, Lagos- Ibadan expressway, Ogun state, with a stolen Hyundai bus while looking for a buyer for it. .



    The driver of the bus, belonging to his employer, Christine Itegbe, stole it when he was sent on an errand. He then conspired with the arrested suspects and drove the bus to RCCG’s Camp to look for a buyer but before they could find one, confusion set in among them. .

    The driver suddenly abandoned the bus and his two accomplices in strange circumstances and fled the Camp and he has not been seen since the incident took place last Saturday. A vigilante, who saw Akpan and Okpara behaving strangely, arrested them...

    They were arraigned before an Igbosere magistrates’ court in Lagos on a three count charge of felony to wit, stealing a bus and properties valued N295,000 inside the bus. Magistrate B.A Sonuga sentenced them to 18 months imprisonment each without an option of fine....
