The Supreme Court will this morning rule on the appeal filed by the
Senate President Bukola Saraki challenging the ruling of the Appeal
court which upheld the jurisdiction of the Code of Conduct Tribunal to
try him over allegations of false assets declaration while he was
governor of Kwara state.
The Appeal court on October 30th dismissed an appeal filed by Saraki challenging the jurisdiction of the Code of Conduct tribunal, stating that his appeal lacked merit. The Supreme Court will this morning decide whether or not the judgement of the appeal court should be dismissed or upheld.
