Self-proclaimed living god, popularly called ‘Jehovah Wanyonyi’ in Kenya
is dead according to a local farmer close to the deceased family. He
died after suffering from malaria caused by mosquito bites. attack. His
followers are currently praying hard for his resurrection.
The 98-year old spiritualist died on the 18th of July on his way to
Cherangany Nursing Home in Kitale town; his close associate, Kipsomba
chief Daniel Busienei told the Standard.
Jehovah Wanyonyi lives in Chemororoch Village in Nangili near Mount
Elgon, which he calls Mount Zion. His over 1,000 followers strongly
believe that Wanyonyi, who has at least 25 wives and 95 Jehova Wanyonyi,
will one day resurface and tell the world what happened.
