Senate president Bukola Saraki on Thursday met with a contingent from
the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), headed by its President, Dr.
Kayode Obembe. The senate helmsman said after the meet;
As a Medical Doctor myself, I fully understand the needs of my
colleagues in the medical community. In this regard, I will work to
ensure that our Doctors continue to have the support of the Senate to
address primary healthcare delivery, funding for the medical sector,
rural sector healthcare, and ways to improve health tourism.
