Police Discovers Another Illegal Weapon Factory In Kaduna, Weapons Recovered

Policemen from Kafanchan Area command have uncovered illegal weapon factory following a tip-off. The security operatives stormed a premises being used for illegal arms manufacturing. Four male suspects; Isah Yahaya ‘m’, Zamani Peter ‘m’, Baye Tswan ‘m’ and Felix Paul ‘m’ were found in the premises at the time and were arrested..

Among items found were;


i. Thirty seven (37) locally-made pistols,

ii. Eleven (11) locally-made Revolver pistols,

iii. Thirty four (34) locally-made single barrel guns,

iv. One hundred and four (104) drilling machines,

v. Three (3) gas cylinders,

vi. Three (3) bench vices,

vii. Two (2) Dane guns,

viii.Four (4) 7.62mm live ammunition,

ix. Two (2) Tiger generators,

x. One (1) Bajaj motorcycle,

xi. One (1) scrap SMG rifle and

xii. Two (2) boxes containing assorted tools and parts of fabricated locally-made pistols/guns.

All exhibits recovered and suspects taken into to custody for interrogation. State CIID Kaduna is investigating.
