Ebute-Metta Robbery Syndicate Smashed By Operatives, Weapon And Vehicle Recovered

On 10th September, 2015 at about 3:50am, Police undercover patrol team along McCullum Street, Off Simpson St., Ebute Metta accosted a wanted male robbery suspect believed to be connected with recent robbery attacks within the State. The arrested suspect later led detectives to the hideout of his gang where five other male gang members all of no fixed address were arrested. Following items were recovered from the hoodlums at the scene;


Three double-barrel pistol,

ii. One locally-made Revolver pistol,

iii. One axe,

iv. Cutlass and

v. One Nissan Pathfinder Jeep Reg. LSX 963 DT.

Exhibits recovered to the station and all suspects taken into custody for interrogation. State CIID Panti Yaba is investigating.
