Cameroonian Army Colonel Known As Pastor Shoots Himself To Death

A Cameroonian army colonel popularly known as Pastor due to his preaching behaviour has committed suicide by blowing his head off with his own gun....Colonel Eyong Tambong Ebot ended his life tragically after committing suicide on Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Bamenda.



The senior officer was the head of the 22nd Brim, motorized infantry brigades, the main weapon section of the army. At the time of the act, he was in his office at the garrison of Bamenda.

According to reports, he came to the garrison, as usual that morning and went to his office, some minutes later, military staff heard a shot from his office, they rush into his office only to see his body lying in blood, with the muzzle pointed at his head.

 An investigation is being carried by the gendarmerie (police).
