Policemen Arrest Persons Selling Fake Police Recruitment Forms In Benue

On 26th August, 2015 at about 1:00pm Police operatives intercepted four persons at a Cyber café opposite Benue State University first gate, along Gboko Road selling fake Police recruitment forms to unsuspecting members of the public at the rate of five hundred naira each. Arrested suspects are; Jigba Vayinea, Bojande Terveshima, Igbabee Kelvin and Abana Stanisla all male. State CIID Makurdi is investigating.


Meanwhile, On 26th August, 2015 Police Special Anti-Kidnapping Team ‘SAKS’ acting on intelligence intercepted a male person suspected to be a member of a kidnap syndicate. One AK-47 rifle with 15 rounds of ammunition and one cut-to-size single barrel gun was recovered from the individual who was immediately arrested.

Suspect and others just concluded plans to abduct a victim at Ezi in Delta State, another male member of the syndicate was tracked down and arrested at gang’s hideout. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend other gang members. State CIID Asaba is investigating.
