Armed with only a rock, a 73-year-old farmer from a village in Quanzhou,
Fujian Province, China has conquered a 3.9-meter-long boa that weighed
around 30 kilograms. Xie Jiancheng was walking his goats down the hill
near his village on Tuesday, when the huge boa suddenly attacked them.
Within seconds, one goat was strangled by the boa.
With no one nearby to help, Xie lifted a big rock and pounded it heavily
on the boa’s head, leading to the irritated creature entangling Xie’s
legs with its tail. Xie continued to pound it, until it finally let go
of him.
The poor goat was killed unfortunately, but Xie sustained with only a
bruise on his stomach, where the boa had whipped him with its tail
during the fight. The boa, on the other hand, is still alive and is
currently under treatment at a local zoo.
