Man Apprehended For Illegal Possession Of Fire Arm In Lekki Area of Lagos

Police patrol team from Maroko Division while on patrol on Wednesday, 12th August, within Lekki area intercepted one male person in possession of a prohibited firearm; a Pistol with 26 rounds of live ammunition. Suspect arrested and the fire arms recovered from him. State CIID Panti Yaba is investigating.


Meanwhile, On 13th August 2015 at about 4:00pm, on a tip-off, Police Safer Highways Patrol team at Kogun village via Jagidin in Jamaa LGA Kaduna intercepted a man and upon a search one locally-made Revolver pistol, one double barrel pistol with two 5.56mm live ammunition were recovered from him. Suspect arrested and taken into custody, State CIID Kaduna is investigating.
