Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn will be replaced on the Chelsea team bench by
Chris Hughes and Steven Hughes for the Premier League champions' trip
to Manchester City on Sunday. First-team doctor Carneiro and physio
Fearn riled Mourinho by rushing to the aid of Eden Hazard in the 2-2
draw against Swansea at Stamford Bridge last Saturday, after the Belgian
attacker went down injured in the final moments of the game.
The Chelsea manager has revised the roles of Caneiro and Fearn and they will be replaced for the game against City by Chris and Steven Hughes, who have extensive first team experience. Chris Hughes has been with Chelsea since 2012 and replaces Carneiro. He is a consultant in sport and exercise medicine.
Steven Hughes, who takes first-team physio Jon Fearn's place, has been with Chelsea since 2004.
Mourinho wasn't happy that the pair went to assist Hazard, even though they appeared to be gestured on to the pitch by referee Michael Oliver, because medical treatment meant the Belgian had to leave the field of play and Chelsea were already down to 10 men due to a red card for Thibaut Courtois.
