A three-man robbery gang have been smashed by men of the Delta state
police command while attacking a female victim. The three suspects were
arrested at the scene after a shootout with the Police in which they
sustained gunshot injuries, the female victim was safely rescued. Read

On 03-07-2015 at about 11:45am close to Zenith Bank along Warri-Sapele
Road, Police Patrol team intercepted a Three-man robbery gang attacking a
female victim. The three suspects were arrested at the scene after a
shootout with the Police in which they sustained gunshot injuries, the
female victim was safely rescued. Victim's snatched hand bag containing
N100,000 cash, Mobile phone, Cheque of N1million was recovered from
suspects.
One double barrel gun and one short single barrel gun with live
cartridges also recovered from suspects. One Black Golf-3 car reg. No.
ABH 401 AA used by the gang was also recovered at the scene alongside
expanded cartridges. The three injured suspects were rushed to the
hospital for medical attention but Doctors pronounced all three dead on
arrival. State CIID Asaba is investigation.
