Photos; Governor Ambode Pledges To Sponsor Annual Lagos International Badminton Classics

Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State on Saturday promised to sponsor the Lagos International Badminton Classics competition during his term in office. The governor made the promise at the closing ceremony of the 2nd International Badminton Classics held at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre, Yaba.

 ``Lagos State Government will continue to sponsor this tournament as long as I am the governor of the state.``We will improve on the set standards achieved this year, in the subsequent editions. ``At the next edition we will have more countries participating and we will also review the total prize money from 15,000 dollars upwards,’’ he said.
