A woman in the United States has filed a lawsuit demanding that a District Judge make a ruling on whether or not homosexuality is a sin.
Sylvia Ann Driskell, 66 - who identifies herself as the
“ambassador” for “God and His Son, Jesus Christ” - is suing all gay people on the
planet for breaking “religious and moral laws”, NBC News reports.
The Nebraska native has filed hand-written legal documents with a court entitled Driskell
v. Homosexuals and wants US District Judge John M. Gerrard to decide
once and for all if homosexuality is a sin.
Ms
Driskell's paperwork doesn't cite any relevant US or international law under
which Judge Gerrard could make a ruling – the documents only quote Bible verse
and the Webster’s dictionary to support Driskell’s main argument which appears
to be:
That homosexuality is
a sin and that they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of
homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet.
I'm sixty six years
old, an [sic] I never thought that I would see the day in which our Great
Nation or Our Great State of Nebraska would become so compliant to the
complicity of some peoples [sic] lewd behavior
