Three time Ballon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo has
overtaken singing sensation, Shakira as he became
the person with the most like on Facebook with 107
million fans on the website.
Ronaldo hit the 100 million fan mark in October of
2014 and has now gone 16,000 fans better than
Shakira who until a few days ago has the most
popular page on Facebook. Ronaldo is becoming
more of a household name in recent months as the
former Manchester United winger has more fans
than even Real Madrid, who have 82.6 million
Facebook fans.
Ronaldo is now the most popular footballer on
Facebook and is followed unsurprisingly by Lionel
Messi who comes in at 78 million fans, Beckham is
third with 52 million and Barcelona’s Neymar comes
in at just under 51 million fans.
