Former Abia State governor, Orji Uzor Kalu has said President Goodluck Jonathan would emerge winner at this month's presidential election.
He told reporters in Katsina at the weekend that Nigerians would vote massively for the President Jonathan in view of his impressive performance.
Kalu dispelled fear that the election would turn violent and the country would break.
"The country is going through what is supposed to go; the country will come out very clean. Election will be held and President Jonathan will win the election."
He said the mass movement of people from north to south and from south to North was unnecessary, assuring that Nigeria will remain united and peaceful after 2015 election.
Kalu explained that the unity of Nigeria was more important than any individual or any political party, pointing that "we have once fought to disagree on this unity; we cannot fight twice."
On why he was in Katsina, Kalu said he came to inspect projects executed by Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema.
He explained that Governor Shema was one of the best governors in Nigeria because of his commitment to empower the youths.
He said he visited crafts village and was happy with the way the youths were trained to learn different trades for their self reliance.
The former governor called on other state governors in the country to focus more attention on empowerment of youths as they construct roads and other gigantic projects.
