The wife of the president, Dame Patience Jonathan, says her
husband runs the most women-friendly administration, compared to any past
administration.
She said President Goodluck Jonathan would
appoint more women into positions of authority if voted for a second term.
Dame Patience said this on Friday, in Lagos, at
an event tagged: Women in Action Town Hall Meeting, which was organised by
Senator Florence Ita Giwa.
The president’s wife, represented by the Minister
of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief (Mrs) Jumoke Akinjide,
said that at no time did Nigerian women have it better than now under the
administration of President Jonathan.
