APGA, APC accused of defacing PDP posters in Anambra

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has accused members of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and All Progressives Congress, APC of vandalizing, defacing and destroying campaign posters, billboards and other materials of party’s candidates in parts of the state.

The party, through Prince Ken Emeakayi, the leader of PDP Contact and Mobiliza-tion Committee of the Presidential campaign council in the state, said it had already petitioned the security agencies including the Police, Department of State Services, Army, Navy and the state governor, among others, over the matter.

He said: “We have received complaints from our candidates that members of APGA and APC have been destroying, defacing and vandalizing PDP billboards, posters and handbills and other campaign materials in parts of the state.”
