Emotan, the first act off the imprint has been with the label since its inception, born in Nigeria but left for the UK since 1990 has a unique style influenced by poetry and spoken words, she blends her sultry, soft, seductive voice on funky house beats to create her own style, engaging her listeners in stories of love, fiction and folk tales, but still African to the core as she show cases this in her looks, outfits, videos and dance steps
